I especially love the detail realism of the glass of white wine. The stem and base are stunning, and you've even captured the edge of the table being refracted by the wine. Do you still paint?

Yes, I still do. But it seems particularly difficult to find the time these days. I had a difficult time deciding on the composition of this particular piece. Composition is everything in still life and landscapes.

I agree the white whine is great. Roll over Rembrandt!!

I prefer the red whine myself! Thanks. ;-)

Wowee! This is stunning. Love that black background. :-)

Thanks, Ivy. Actually, I had a tough time with the foreground. If you look carefully at the table in front of the slice of orange you'll notice that the color is a little lighter than the rest of the table. I had some other objects there - but I found that the composition was too busy so I opted to paint them over.
