Cool cool! I like your self-portrait. I find faces really tricky to draw, so I usually don't. I really like Life Drawing, though -- human bodies and that. It's awesome. Thanks for sharing. :-)
As a kid, I actually started drawing the human form from comic books. It wasn't until I audited an undergraduate drawing class that I actually was able to sketch from a live model. I've dabbled in most mediums but prefer conte or gesso, ink, pastel & acrylic or oil.
I had a chance to see some of the work you posted on your blog and was very impressed. I hope that you'll keep posting it.
